The display debuted at HITEC (Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference) 2006, June 19-22 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minn. The internet has given rise to a new social phenomenon: internet powered networking, known as 'web based social networking' (WBSN). The sites Facebook and MySpace are examples of these.
