Hello all ISY00244 students out there, wherever you may be living! Wecome to Trimester 2009. I'd like you to respond to this post with some information about yourself. Introduce yourself to your student colleagues, let us know where you are from, what you're studying, what your strengths are in this unit. Let us know a bit about your professional background, too. Please include a note indicating whether you're enrolled with Naresuan, or SCU, and if with SCU whether internal or external.

4.China, TianJin. The city is very close by BeiJing. There are lots of delicious food so that you can find everything which you want to eat. However, my hometown is very business. It is too noisy.
5.Before I study here I spend four years on studing in Harbin Institute of Technology University. It is early big university, its academic atmosphere is really good.
6.I have above two years working experience in China. My job is marketing management which is the railway power supply system. My job give me a lot good things.It tell me how to communicate with eath other people. How to show your personality in your job.
7.In my opinion, studing here just is my most memorable holiday. Because I have free time to read my favorate book. That is just like a gift from god. So I am very treasure opportunity such like studing in SCU.
8.By the way, I am really good at singing. If I have chance I will show it.

This is Deepti Chacko C. Im called "Deep" by my fellow school mates. I am from India but bought up in Kuwait. I have not worked in an office as such but have done various other works ranging from social work to a bit of office works too.
Familiar with the computer, internet and email for a very long. Used to make websites and do everything possible with the computer. Lost touch. Need to refresh :) Waiting for my own blog someday ! :)
This should definitely help myself go through this unit :D
Currently enrolled as an internal SCU student for Master of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Hello, everyone, this is Yang Yang, from China. Im doing master of International tourism and hospitality course in SCU and this is my third trimester.I don't have any actual working experiance.However, Im looking forward to learn much much more things from this unit and other students.
Hello everybody. My name is Xiu Huang, or you can call me Jason if you want. I'm from Wuhan, China, which is such a hot city in summer. Before I came to Australia I was an engineer assistant and had a part-time job as tour guide. Currently I am doing MTHM in SCU, and I will finish all my on-campus units after this trimester.
My name is Ross Bullard and I'm an old fella aged 54 who's an internal student of SCU.
I have been involved in the hospitality industry for over 20yrs. As I worked through the hierarchy I came to a "glass ceiling" where the only way to succeed further in the industry was to study for a degree.
I've surfed (waves, not the net) since I was a child and have surfed in competitions up to an international level. I still enjoy a dawn surf and hope to into old age.

my strength in this unit...... i don't have IT experence before , however i am pretty good at creating movies and mucis by media software...

Hi my name is Troy Sinclair i am 31 years old and I am doing my Masters in Hotel and Tourism at SCU. I am originally from Australia but now live in Indonesia Bali. I am currently the General Manager of Batu Karang Lembongan Resort and Day Spa on Nusa Lembongan Island. I have worked in hospitality since i was 16 years old and have thoroughly enjoyd it. I did a Bachelor of Business Information Systems prior to this course.
I am a super keen surfer and have travelled the world chasing waves (Ross you might relate to this).
I love living abroad especially in Asia and think it is fantastic that there are so many students enrolled in this unit that are from different parts of Asia.

I graduated with a Master's Degree in other area before and I take this Dual Master Degree programme (NU/SCU) because I am working in the area of tourism development and interested in this field. I am Majoring the Master of International Tourism and Hotel Management by getting the dual-degree of both Universities. I just started the Trimester C 2009 (SCU) or Term 2 (NU).
I used to work as a Concierge Lounge Attendant in Hilton San Diego Mission Valley Hotel, CA, USA for one year after I graduated the Bachelor of Art, International College for Sustainable Studies ( Eco-tourism and Hospitality Management ) in Bangkok, year 2007.
I am looking for someone who can join me and work with me in preparing on this course and someone who can help me. This is my first time to study on this subject and i don't have any experience on making a web site. Hope we can help each other and i look forwrad to learn with you guys.
